The highway authority is responsible for decisions on pavement channels, although some combined authorities in England have received the Pavement Channel Grant.

On-Street Residential Charging Scheme (ORCS)
ORCS was a UK Government programme for installing public chargers near homes without driveways. Any local authority could apply.
