Number of EV drivers with driveways 1,355,447 Zapmap Home and Community EV Charging Stats 2025 Zapmap's variable is number of home chargers. We use this as a proxy for EV drivers with driveways. However, this will likely underestimate EV drivers with driveways because some of these do not have home chargers.
Zapmap's estimates are based on the uptake of government grants for home chargers which are no longer applicable, and their own survey data.

We use this as a proxy for proportion of car households with on-street parking. However, the proportion of car households with on-street parking is likely higher than the proportion of cars parked on street because second or third cars might not fit on driveways.
